If you accept, we can send “push” notifications directly to your mobile device, so you don’t miss important information about your booking. And, if you allow us to access your device location or contact details, we can provide extra services if you request them. Your mobile device will have instructions to allow push notifications and to give us access to this type of data. To provide you with better service and more relevant marketing, we may use something known as “cross-device tracking”. This only means that we observe how you use our platforms on more than one device: we could, for example, combine data from your mobile phone and your home computer. To ensure you find offers that may interest you in our newsletter, We review the searches you do and the services you book on multiple devices after logging into your user account. If you don’t want us to do this, please log out before browsing or unsubscribe from our newsletter. Cross-device tracking can also mean that when using one device, you may see personalized advertisements from many different companies, based on your activities on connected devices. The Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) should prevent this from happening if you opt out of the NAI behavioral advertising program (our cookie statement provides the link you need, under “It’s Your Choice: Join and Opt Out”). Note: Simply logging out of your user account will not prevent this from happening. What security and storage procedures do we put in place to safeguard your personal data? Our business systems and procedures ensure that we take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data and safeguard it from any misuse or unauthorized access, in accordance with UK and European data protection laws. We also have specific security procedures and restrictions (both technical and physical) that limit the access and use of the personal data in our possession. Only authorized personnel can access personal data and can only do so for specific and authorized reasons. We will keep your personal data for as long as we deem necessary to allow you to use our services, to provide you with our services (including maintaining your online user account (if created)), to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes with any party and otherwise, if necessary to enable us to conduct our business, including to detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activities. Any personal data we hold will be subject to this Privacy Policy.

How do we process children’s personal data?

We do not provide services to minors under the age of 18 and reserve the right to delete any information we may receive from a minor of this age. We may receive information about children in certain situations, such as an insurance claim or a customer service dispute. If so, we will only collect and use such information with the consent of the child’s parent or guardian. How can you control the personal data you have provided to us? You have the right, subject to certain legal exceptions, to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you and to object to the processing of your personal data. You can use our Data Subject Access Portal to enforce any of these rights. Then, we will ask for further information to confirm your identity, to keep your information safe and we will handle your request in accordance with applicable UK data protection law. You can update or delete your user account at any time by logging into our site. When you make a reservation or request a quote, we ask you if you would like to activate the receipt of marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any of these marketing emails or by updating your email preferences in your user account. Who is responsible for the processing of personal data on our platforms? Bizz srl controls the processing of personal data on its platforms. Bizz srl is a limited liability company, established under the laws of Italy, and has offices in Via Galileo Galilei, 4 Bolzano 39100 BZ. If you have any questions, concerns, comments or complaints about our practices, or this Privacy Policy, please email [email protected], with “Privacy” in the subject line, and we will get back to you. You can also contact your local data protection authority. When it comes to privacy, we’re always happy to talk.
